Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our friendly team in Northwich, United Kingdom. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care and support in their homes and within the local community.
Shift patterns will consist of Morning shifts 08:00am-14:00pm and Late shifts 15:30pm-21:30pm with a requirement to work 1 late shift per week.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when necessary
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities within Northwich and surrounding areas
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients\' health conditions
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
* Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients\' conditions
* Engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations to promote mental well-being
* Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
* Work flexibly across various shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
* Requirement to work alternative weekends
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
* Excellent reliability, professionalism, and organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
* Empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to build trusting relationships
* Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for travel within Northwich
* Basic first aid knowledge (preferred but not required, as training will be provided)
* Previous experience in caregiving or related field is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
* Willingness to learn and adapt to clients\' individual needs and preferences
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance
* Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in care settings
