BDO Digital Cyber Analyst
BDO UK is a leading accountancy and business advisory firm based in Birmingham. We are looking for a high‑performing SOC Analyst to join our fast‑growing Managed Cyber Security Services team and help protect our global client base from cyber threats.
About the role
You will be part of a dynamic team of internal auditors, accountants, technology, and business transformation experts. Your focus will be to manage client risks through innovative technology and thorough threat analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze security events and incidents using SIEM, MDR, EDR, and SOAR technologies.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver risk‑based solutions.
- Provide threat intelligence and incident response support to clients.
Qualifications
* Experience in using SIEM, MDR, EDR, and SOAR technologies
* Experience working as an analyst within a SOC
* Familiarity with relevant coding languages (Python, SQL, etc.)
* One or more relevant security certifications (e.g. CEC, SOC, Microsoft SC‑200, Security+)
* Bachelor's degree in Cyber/Information Security
* Resides in the UK
* Fluent in English
