£45,000 - £55,000 + Fantastic Technical Training + 30 Days Holiday + Attractive Company Bonus
Office based role, commutable from Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Bridgewater, Wells, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, and the surrounding areas.
Are you from a CAD or Mechanical Design background, looking to take the helm of a thriving department in a market leading company that provide fantastic technical training, ensuring you become a technical expert within the field and have the opportunity to work on a bespoke product range and help grow and develop engineers within the business?
On offer is the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding manufacturer who are renowned for their ongoing product training, and development into all aspects of CAD, and have the autonomy to make key decisions surrounding the product development and help to grow and shape the department.
The company are leading design and manufacturing company makes high-quality fume and safety cupboards and cabinets for industrial & educational industry. They provide themselves on their low staff turnover and strong focus surrounding the development of their employees.
The role is office based with occasional site visits where you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of new and existing products, delivering innovative technical solutions, producing and maintaining technical documentation, providing expert technical support and training to both customers and service engineers, and supervising the work of a CAD-focused Design Engineer.
The role would suit someone from a CAD or Mechanical Design background keen to step into a management position and acquire the full technical training to become an expert within the CAD field.
The Role
* Lead product development, innovation, and warranty solutions for new and existing products.
* Provide technical expertise, training, and support to customers, service engineers, and staff.
* Supervise and manage the CAD-focused Design Engineer.

* CAD / Mechanical Design Experience
* Looking to step into management
* Full UK Drivers Licence
