Devonshire Family Hub is looking for a Senior Business Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated Early Help 0–19 Service. As part of the Family Hubs network, you’ll play a vital role in helping us provide accessible support to families, children, and young people across Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford. You’ll be the backbone of the service — ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting colleagues, and helping families access the support they need As a Senior Business Administrator, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and financial support to our Devonshire Family Hub team. You’ll help the service run efficiently by managing enquiries, organising meetings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the coordination of projects and events. This is a varied role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. You’ll use your communication skills to liaise with families, colleagues, and partner agencies — ensuring that everyone receives a warm, professional, and well-organised service. You’ll be part of a supportive administrative team who work collaboratively across our Family Hubs and with partners such as ESHT Health Visiting colleagues. We are looking for candidates who: Is organised and adaptable Takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support. Has strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams). Has communication and interpersonal skills — with confidence in working with families and professionals. Has a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and prioritising a varied workload. Has the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
