Join a leading defence partner supporting the UK Ministry of Defence as a Manufacturing Engineer. You will play a key role in assembling and integrating advanced missile systems, supporting multiple manufacturing projects from concept to delivery. This is a contract role with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and update manufacturing instructions and route cards
* Design, commission, and test tooling for production
* Support FMEAs, FAIs, and industrial validation activities
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during build
* Ensure configuration control and support SAP-based non-conformance processes
What Do You Need?
* Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 with a formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Or: A BEng degree in a relevant engineering field
* Or: A minimum of twenty years of experience working as a manufacturing engineer
* Strong understanding of build instructions and design drawings
* Experience in electronic sub-assembly and electro-mechanical systems
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* ESD training and SAP experience are essential
