Commercial and Pricing Executive (Drinks)
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 + Benefits
Location: Dunstable, hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the office.

Our Restaurants Product and Brand team are now recruiting a Drinks Commercial Analyst who will shape our future drinks strategy, through delivering a robust pricing and ranging strategy across 1,200 hotels and branded restaurants as we move into the next stage of our business growth programme to grow our Food and beverage business.
Reporting to the Bar Platform and Development Manager you will also work with teams in commercial, finance, marketing and product development to provide detailed analysis, trend data and performance tracking to ensure we are delivering the right product position for our customers.

What you’ll do
You will be responsible for implementing and evolving our commercial drinks strategy through:
* Providing a clear view of Whitbread’s drink pricing position in the market understanding strengths, weaknesses across both local and nationally, whilst keeping up to date on industry trends and innovation within the drinks industry.
* Responsible for implementing, measuring and optimising agreed drinks pricing strategies across our business that will both delivery of agreed market position and sales targets and also offer value for our guests.
* Track success of campaigns and promotions and trials, providing key recommendations, monitor potential risks and measure KPI performance.
* Provide key insight and analysis into range and menu decisions to ensure that menu or campaigns deliver against KPIs and agreed objectives.
* Working with Drinks Implementation team to analyse data, market and guest insights to deliver effective merchandising strategies that will drive growth opportunities for drink performance.
What we need
* Ideally you will be working within a similar analyst role with similar category experience and good knowledge of drinks industry or experience gained working within a merchandising / pricing/ range planning role gained within retail business working with commercial data.
* Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience in interpreting multiple data sources and able to make informed recommendations to improve and enhance our pricing and range strategy.
* Have excellent communications skills and the ability to engage and influenceacross multiple internal customers.
* Flexible and adaptable, you have the ability to manage own workload yet respond to changing business priorities.
* You are naturally a self-motivated individual who is keen a make a difference, and also has the ability challenge and question making objective recommendations.
