An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team. The team works closely with Lockton’s clients and insurance underwriters to reconcile and manage client money.
Responsibilities
* Daily prioritisation and escalation of pending or suspected NOC activity and liaison with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
* Diary management of mismatches and escalation of differences to the business.
* Deliver exceptional client service by acting as liaison for insurance underwriters, strengthening relationships and reviewing processes, and initiating insurer partnership meetings.
* Reconcile accounts with insurance underwriters, internal Lockton divisions, and IBA stakeholders to ensure funds are settled.
* Comply with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements and elevate issues to senior management.
* Work with the Lockton offshore accounts team on insurer processes (NOC, PPW, and premium query management).
* Support a dynamic and growing business with an interest in finance and keen eye for detail.
* Full‑time role based in our Brighton office.
Qualifications
* High degree of accuracy, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
* Good understanding of general and legal principles applicable to insurance, especially FSA client money rules.
* Working knowledge of Lockton software including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Power BI, Sector, and A4B.
* Good numerical ability and analytical mindset.
* Adaptable and change‑oriented.
* Strong right‑first‑time approach.
* Collaborative team player supporting colleagues.
* Ability to achieve individual and team objectives.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, maintaining professional relationships with Lockton colleagues, clients, insurers, and third‑party providers.
* Capability to compile, analyse, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making with excellent attention to detail.
* Desirable: understanding of cash collection/payment processes such as general insurance accounting and client invoicing.
