We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join the established HSE Central Team, supporting site teams. The role can be based at any LEUK site or involve hybrid working. You will work as part of the central team, supporting the HSE Systems Manager and wider HSE team to review and update processes for the HSE management system across the UK Electronics Division (including Cyber, Automation & Head Office), ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.
The role is varied, requiring a broad skill set, including strong people skills and effective communication. As the HSE Systems Advisor, you will support the HSE Systems Manager in:
* Ensuring robust HSE Systems and supporting continuous improvement efforts
* Creating and distributing HSE communication materials (bulletins, alerts), conducting in-house training, and assisting with HSE events
* Supporting HSE Systems testing and implementation
* Leading BMS updates in collaboration with the HSE team and subject matter experts
* Serving as a point of contact for HSE system queries and improvements
* Managing the incident management system properly
* Providing guidance on HSE matters
* Building relationships with stakeholders across sites to promote a positive safety culture
* Driving continuous improvement in HSE standards and practices
* Acting as a focal point for Automation HSE advice
Occasional travel to other sites will be required for business and team development purposes.
What you’ll bring
* Proven track record in delivering HSE improvements
* Knowledge of ISO Management Systems: ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001
* Experience in managing or auditing HSE management systems
* Understanding of safety culture development
* NEBOSH General Certificate or higher (preferably working towards NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 6)
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
* Proficient in MS Office and good analytical skills
* Resilient, able to work under pressure
