This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategically minded individual to join our expanding Accountancy and Advisory team.
We are open to recruiting this role at Partner or Director level, and are keen to hear from ambitious candidates ready for that challenge and eager to make a positive impact within a rapidly expanding firm.
Working closely with the head of this service line and our Bristol Senior Management Team (SMT), you will play a significant role in developing our Business Advisory and Accountancy service lines across our offices.
Joining as a senior member of a large team, you will be expected to promote best practices to deliver proactive, relationship-led advisory services to our corporate clients.
You will need to be highly commercial in your approach and demonstrate a proven track record of developing new business opportunities through leveraging your network.
Working closely with our Partners, you will contribute to the growth of our client base and enhance overall client service delivery and experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Building strong relationships with owner-managed business clients and ensuring the delivery of quality, trusted advisory services
* Monitoring developments in the accounting marketplace to maintain competitiveness and efficiency
* Playing a pivotal role in Business Development activities and building/maintaining a strong local network to support service line growth
* Collaborating with our SMT to develop and grow our Bristol & Bath CBS team, including recruiting, coaching, and succession planning
* Working with our head of service line and other Partners to formulate and implement our firm-wide accounting and advisory services strategy
About You
To be considered for the role, you will need to:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in a business services environment
* Be a strong business developer eager to build contacts and networks within the local business community
* Have current knowledge of market developments, especially regarding cloud-based systems and outsourcing opportunities
* Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills capable of influencing at all levels
* Be a strong People Manager who enjoys building and developing teams
* Be keen to contribute to the overall success of Bishop Fleming
