Job Description:
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Practitioner Psychologist to work within a hybrid role WFH and travelling to CYP residential services across Birmingham
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will split their time working from home and travelling to children residential homes across Birmingham. The post holder will be joining an MDT who specialize in residential childcare for young people with learning disabilities utilizing a therapeutic PACE approach. This is an exciting time to join this employer who has growth plans for 2026.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time, subject to applications part time may be considered
Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 FTE
Experience required:
Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration along with experience working with children and young people who present with complex mental health and learning disabilities, ideally within a residential setting. Those with PACE training will be at an advantage.
A car owner/driver is preferred but its not mandatory.
