VodafoneThree - Financial PMO Analyst - Networks
Location: Newbury/Reading (hybrid)
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri
Duration: 12 months secondment
You’ll join the Networks Budget Governance team, a central function responsible for the end‑to‑end financial governance of a multi‑billion‑pound budget across Capex, Opex and operational processes. This is a high‑impact role where your work directly supports how we plan, invest and deliver our network infrastructure.
What you’ll do
* Lead end‑to‑end financial performance reporting across Networks, including forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis and reforecasting.
* Deliver Capex and Opex reporting, providing clear insight into performance, risks and opportunities.
* Identify and track financial risks, ensuring alignment to budget and proactively flagging emerging issues.
* Support planning cycles including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and financial reviews.
* Drive insight and value through performance analysis, JBP tracking and synergy monitoring.
* Improve reporting processes through automation and standardisation to reduce manual effort and increase speed of insight.
* Build strong relationships with Finance, PMO and operational teams to provide trusted financial support.
* Contribute to AI‑driven and self‑serve reporting capabilities to enhance data accessibility and decision‑making.
Who you are
You bring a strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You’re comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and thrive in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with advanced Excel skills.
* Experience working with financial reporting, forecasting or performance analysis in a complex environment.
* Ability to build and maintain reporting tools (Power BI experience is beneficial).
* Confident communicator who can challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Experience working within governance, PMO or structured delivery environments.
* Understanding of financial processes, systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) or data‑driven decision‑making.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation.
