Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)
Location: Remote with UK travel
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. You will work from home and travel within the UK as needed to meet clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
* Drive sales growth and profitability in the Rail sector.
* Engage with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, and infrastructure partners.
* Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and advocacy.
* Collaborate on bids and proposals to secure new business.
* Manage existing Light Rail clients effectively.
* Utilize business data to generate leads and promote group solutions.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines using Salesforce and Sales Plans.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager within the UK Light Rail sector. Key skills include:
* Account management and sales experience in Light Rail.
* Proven ability to generate new business.
* Understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics.
* Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
* Data analysis skills for solution development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
