Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support

Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in Partington that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing school environment where every child is encouraged to grow academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, helping them progress toward their learning targets
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
* Contribute to the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external specialists to support whole-child development
Essential Skills & Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with children with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training can be provided if required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
