Role Overview: As an ECT, you will be supported in delivering high-quality lessons tailored to a variety of learning needs. You’ll be working alongside experienced educators, receive mentoring, and have access to structured professional development to help you build a strong foundation in your teaching career. Role Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons in line with the curriculum. Establish a safe and engaging learning environment for all pupils. Assess children’s progress and adapt teaching accordingly. Work collaboratively with staff, mentors, and leadership to support student development. Uphold the school’s values and contribute to a positive school culture. Requirements for Early Career Teacher: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Passionate about education and committed to continuous professional growth. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to teaching. Willingness to embrace feedback and reflect on practice. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
