About the Role In this role, you will: Provide practical and emotional support to women and children living in the refuge, supporting clients with benefits claims, budgeting, and accessing external services. Accompany clients to appointments such as court, solicitors, and healthcare providers, and attend MARAC and other multi-agency meetings to advocate for clients. Work with other agencies to secure specialist support for issues such as debt or substance misuse, and assist with resettlement services for families moving on from the refuge. Support safeguarding and child welfare in collaboration with the Child Support Worker. Hold a caseload of up to 8 families, offering tailored support through structured plans. Complete risk and needs assessments and respond appropriately in line with IDAS policies. Promote activities that support recovery and empowerment.
