DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all transport scheduled activities.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Escalation in colleague and driver issues
* Accountable for ensuring system compliance (e.g., Logics, DPM, and transport systems)
* Fostering an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practices to benefit the network
* Manage and review Transport KPIs, to identify KPLs, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours, and POA, supporting improvements
* Manage operational costs and identify cost performance trends (e.g., fuel, accidents)
* Promote a positive transport/network culture, supporting EOS initiatives
* Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policy
* Process paperwork such as invoices
* Operate IT systems as required
* Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service
* Perform general admin tasks
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Experience working in a fast-moving transport operation
* Knowledge of transport legal compliance
* H&S compliance and leadership skills
* Able to work well under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally
