You’ll provide accurate, timely information to our Regulatory Compliance Manager, keep registration processes running smoothly, and turn complex data into clear insight that drives continuous improvement. This is a 6 month maternity cover contract role with some occasional travel to our head office in Widnes as required. What is " The Deal " for you? Run registration activity—coordinate new applications and changes for services in England (CQC) and Scotland (Care Inspectorate), guiding operational teams through each step and communicating professionally with regulators. Track the details that matter—maintain an up‑to‑date picture of all registration activity and related service changes; prompt and escalate regulatory enquiries to ensure timely action. Support governance reporting—gather, validate, and analyse compliance data for dashboards, performance reviews, and lessons‑learned. Manage key risk actions—monitor open actions from fire risk assessments, driving updates and escalating where needed. Keep us on schedule—own a compliance calendar so deadlines are clear, met, and well‑communicated. Champion great information—administer intranet content for the Quality team so colleagues can find the right guidance fast. Our Ideal Candidate Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) and established experience in regulated health & social care. Strong grasp of CQC & Care Inspectorate frameworks, including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (England) and Health and Social Care Standards (Scotland). Confident with data analysis and reporting, and experienced in electronic records management. Advanced IT skills, with a talent for turning complex data into meaningful insight. Organised, detail‑driven, and proactive—able to build positive relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues at every level. Why join us?
