ICT Applications and Systems Team Leader
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced ICT Applications and Systems Team Leader to join the Digital Team at Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust (WAST). The Trust has an ambitious five-year digital strategy to deliver high-quality information and digital solutions with patient care at its core. The Digital Team operates across Wales and represents the national service.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert and effective ICT support across development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of ICT applications and systems.
* Deliver a high-quality, professional service to the Trust’s ICT systems and users; act as a technical lead for ICT applications projects.
* Develop, implement and maintain multi-faceted ICT systems; investigate, resolve and plan ICT solutions in line with Trust policy to ensure smooth operation.
* Provide day-to-day supervision of ICT Applications Engineers.
* Offer ICT support and advice to managers and users to enable effective use of systems across Wales.
* Support delivery of the Trust’s digital strategy through the ICT Applications and Systems function.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of ICT applications and systems.
* Ability to work proactively and independently with initiative.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with managers and users.
* Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
