A reputable Local Authority is seeking an experienced Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to join its legal services team on an interim basis. Position Details:
* Job Title: Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor
* Location: Fully Remote
* Rate: £65.00+ per hour
* Contract Length: Initial 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension
* Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality legal advice and representation on adult social care matters, including Court of Protection, safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act.
* Manage a varied caseload independently and efficiently.
* Draft legal documents, attend virtual hearings, and liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (England & Wales).
* Demonstrable experience in adult social care law, ideally within a local government setting.
* Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.
* Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.#
