We’re working with a top-tier international law firm to recruit a Sustainability & ESG Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s evolving ESG strategy. The option of wokring part-time is also available.

The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll help lead the delivery of the firm’s sustainability reporting agenda, with a strong focus on CSRD implementation and supporting future CSDDD readiness. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business globally, owning data systems, extracting insight, and translating ESG performance into clear, impactful reporting for both internal and external audiences.
This position suits someone with experience in professional services, consultancy or complex global organisations, who enjoys combining technical ESG expertise with project leadership and influence.
Key Responsibilities
* Take a lead role in producing the firm’s annual Sustainability Report
* Manage and evolve ESG reporting processes in line with CSRD and double materiality outcomes
* Own ESG data collection, governance and analysis across multiple business functions
* Build strong relationships with internal ESG data owners globally (Finance, HR, Procurement, Risk, Real Estate, etc.)
* Prepare ESG insights and narratives for senior stakeholders, clients and third-party frameworks
* Respond to client ESG data and reporting requests
* Support and manage ESG-related projects such as Carbon Literacy training, social impact measurement, and supply chain risk initiatives
* Oversee submissions to external ESG frameworks and ratings (e.g. CDP, UNGC, EcoVadis)
* Research and apply ESG best practice, emerging regulation and thought leadership
About You
* Proven experience in Sustainability / ESG / Responsible Business
* Strong knowledge of CSRD and familiarity with other ESG standards and frameworks
* Confident working with large, complex ESG data sets and turning insight into action
* Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
* Experienced in sustainability reporting and data management tools (Excel, dashboards, cloud platforms)
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing long-term, complex projects
* Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to new tools and evolving requirements
