 
        Your new company Hays are working with an organisation in the construction industry for a full-time permanent helpdesk administrator. Your new role As a Helpdesk Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy facilities management helpdesk. Working with a bespoke internal software system, you will be responsible for logging service requests, updating job progress, and ensuring accurate and timely communication between clients, engineers, and the supply chain. Your duties will include: Managing incoming emails and phone calls Logging and closing service jobs using the internal FM system Raising purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers Maintaining live updates and detailed notes on job progress Liaising with engineers and clients to ensure smooth service delivery Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident using the systems and processes in place. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a helpdesk or administrative role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner Ability to work effectively within a team Experience using CAFM or similar facilities management systems (desirable but not essential) What you'll get in return City centre-based office £24,500 per annum reviewed after 3 months and salary review after 6 months Working hours of 8am - 4.45pm Monday-Thursday & Friday 8am - 12.45pm 30 days annual leave per year Company Pension Workplace events (team building etc) Healthshield Cash back Scheme What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
