Practice Nurse – Nottingham Location: Nottingham Hours: Part-time or Full-time Salary: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience) A well-established GP practice in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join its friendly and supportive clinical team. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is confident in delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide evidence-based nursing care in accordance with practice protocols • Chronic disease management (e.g., Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Hypertension) • Cervical cytology and women’s health services • Childhood and adult immunisations • Travel health advice and vaccinations • Wound care, dressings, ear care, and treatment-room skills • ECGs, phlebotomy and NHS health checks • Assist in meeting QOF and practice clinical targets • Contribute to safeguarding and infection control standards • Work collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, HCAs and the wider MDT Essential Requirements • NMC-registered Nurse • Experience in a primary care or general practice setting (preferred) • Confident working independently and managing own clinics • Strong communication and patient-centred approach • Ability to follow clinical guidelines and maintain accurate documentation • Organised, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care What’s Offered • Flexible part-time or full-time hours • Supportive and well-structured primary care environment • Opportunities for ongoing CPD and clinical development • Broad clinical exposure across treatment-room and chronic disease work • Competitive remuneration package Suitable for experienced Practice Nurses or those transitioning into primary care with relevant skills and training.
