My client, a national company providing an end-to-end service, will be responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of substations across the South West and Wales. As Site Engineer / Resident Engineer you will: * Be responsible for setting out on sites; drainage, roads, RC foundations, earthworks etc * Work with TWCs and TWSs and support them throughout the project construction phase * Produce as-built drawings * Request TQs, RFI etc to resolve design issues, produce as-built drawings and ensure all QA documentation is completed correctly * Attend design meetings, supporting site management team ensuring construction milestones are met. Our client requires a Site Engineer / Resident Engineer with: * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline * Experience with setting out/surveying on Civil Engineering projects * Previous history of working in a Utility/Electrical Transmission environment * Understanding of Temporary Works and BS5975 classifications * Excellent communication skills.
