A Senior Structural Engineer is required by an award winning, multi-disciplined, Engineering Consultancy in Derby. As Senior Structural Engineer you will be joined a well-established team of professionals who between them possess vast technical expertise of the structures industry. You will be joining a friendly, welcoming and sociable team who are thriving in their success of the delivery of building design projects.
At present the department are involved in a solid range of projects which include but is not restricted to:
* Residential Apartments, flats and student accommodation
* Industrial Logistical Parks and distribution facilities- portal frames structures
* More unique and bespoke "industrial" based projects
* Motor Show Rooms, workshops and facilities
My Client requires a well experienced Structural Engineer who can "job-run" on projects with minimal supervision and who can really help strongly deliver on design schemes. As Senior Structural Engineer you will join a well-established team of Principal Engineers, Project Engineers, graduate Engineers and Technicians. Given the Seniority of the role you will be able to manage your projects effectively and delegate appropriate tasks within the team to ensure a smooth delivery of work.
About You
* Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
* Proven ability in preparation of bids and proposals, and developing good working relationships with clients
* Experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork
* Knowledge and use of BIM packages
* Interesting and Challenging project
* Autonomy to lead your own projects
