Job Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
3. Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
4. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Support the audit process, liaising with external auditors to address queries and provide required documentation.
6. Monitor and enhance financial controls and processes across the group.
7. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the group entities.
8. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in group accounting activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
12. Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Group Accounting principles.
13. Experience in the FMCG industry or a similar sector.
14. Proven ability to manage audits and liaise with external auditors effectively.
15. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
16. Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
17. An understanding of regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
