About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the vibrant and collaborative International Sales team in our Education Division as our new Strategic Accounts Executive.
The International Strategic Accounts team is responsible for the Third-Party Suppliers that purchase resources from Education International directly.
This role supports delivery of sales and driving of profitable growth by taking responsibility for the customer management of third-party accounts in key regions, ensuring efficient service, resolution of any operational issues and supporting the sales activity.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
1. Customer Management: Support and manage third-party accounts, grow relationships to collaboratively impact positive sales growth and ensure smooth running of all operations. Efficiently triage incoming issues to ensure tasks are completed by the most relevant department. This involves working across multiple internal functions including Sales Support, Customer Services, Compliance, Manufacturing and more. Use effective delegation and task management skills to ensure your accounts feel well supported and issues are tracked and resolved swiftly.
2. Support Strategic Account Management: Act as a key interface between the external customer and all relevant internal functions - cross departmental and cross divisional – Customer Service teams, Credit Management, ELT Business Operations, Inventory and Supply Planning, Commercial, Sales and Marketing - ensure collaboration with sales colleagues across all divisions to identify market trends and emerging opportunities.
3. Marketing Strategy: Support Strategic Account managers in working collaboratively with marketing to create and implement a Distributor promotional strategy. Develop this strategy in response to feedback from the market.
4. Compliance: Act as a key interface between the customer and the Education compliance team. Support the Business Partner Manager for nominated accounts, ensure all compliance requirements are up to date and be confident completing any required High Risk Business Activity documentation. Using market knowledge to raise any red flags or other concerns.
5. Product and Market Knowledge: Develop and maintain an excellent level of product, market and competitor knowledge in order match customer needs effectively to grow sales.
6. System and data management: Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Salesforce so that it is effectively customized for international bookseller requirements, ensuring that key data is accurately collected, loaded and used to maximize contact time with key accounts. Maintain a high level of working knowledge of SAP.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
