About the role
Control Room Team Leader / Supervisor in the National Operations Centre, Northampton.
Salary: £33,500 per year. Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights. Permanent, Full‑Time.
This role requires someone ready to step into leadership, owning and improving the Control Room operations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support a team of Controllers across day and night shifts.
* Monitor live staffing, attendance, welfare checks, and incident response.
* Ensure duress activations and escalations are handled correctly and promptly.
* Oversee workload distribution during peak periods.
* Maintain exceptional accuracy in reporting and incident logging.
* Lead structured handovers between shifts.
* Coaching team members to improve performance and confidence.
* Identify process improvements and drive standards upward.
* Act as the first point of escalation before matters move to senior management.
