An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art care home opened in Holt, Norfolk. The latest flagship nursing home in historic Holt is the embodiment of elegance and luxury living, combining superb facilities. We are proud to offer residential, dementia, respite and nursing care in a beautiful and well‑designed setting.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Key Duties
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contribute to care planning and coach support workers
* Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
* Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Preferred skills and experience
* Have a genuine desire to care for others
* Be a good team player
* Have good verbal and written communication skills
* Have proven experience of working in a care setting
Benefits
