Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning of collections and deliveries, including hazardous and customs planning where necessary.
2. Booking of vehicles and loading space, with correct administration according to Dachser network standards.
3. Monitoring outbound operations and using various Dachser Tools (including but not limited to Domino, Outbound Planning Tool, Charter Tool).
4. Managing loading effectively to meet customer requirements and departmental KPIs.
5. Processing cost accruals and purchase invoices.
6. Communicating effectively with other departments in Northampton, the country, and other branches in the network to ensure good working relations.
7. Managing suppliers to minimize costs and ensure consistent service.
8. Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and maintaining quality standards.
9. Maximizing profit opportunities without compromising quality.
10. Responding efficiently to customer requests for charter and groupage services, providing cost-effective solutions.
11. Maintaining a supplier database with cost-effective options to meet customer requirements.
12. Ensuring compliance with reporting procedures and accurate, efficient handling of paperwork.
13. Administering vehicle dispatch and providing necessary documents (including CMRs, loading lists, hazardous and customs paperwork).
