About the Firm
A highly regarded London law firm with a market-leading Intellectual Property practice, is looking to hire a Commercial IP Associate (2–3 PQE) to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with premium brands, high-profile businesses and innovative companies across media, entertainment, technology, fashion and consumer sectors.
The Role
You will advise on a broad mix of non-contentious and contentious intellectual property matters, servicing clients from a wide range of sectors, including FMCG, retail, fashion, film, TV and theatre, publishing, music, video games and travel.
Your work will include:
* Advising on trade marks, copyright, design rights, domain names and brand protection strategies
* Drafting and negotiating IP licences, assignments, coexistence agreements, sponsorship and commercial agreements
* Supporting on IP disputes, including infringement, passing off and enforcement actions
About You
* England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2–3 years’ PQE, with a strong background in commercial IP (contentious experience beneficial but not essential).
* Interest in creative, brand-driven and technology-led sectors, with experience in a leading private practice firm or in-house.
