Job Title: Digital Engineering Lead
Location: Central London
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000
About the Role
We are working with a well-established specialist contractor in Central London that is looking to appoint a Digital Engineering Lead as part of their continued growth. This is a key role within the business, offering the chance to drive digital strategy, lead project delivery, and shape the future of digital engineering within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of digital delivery across a mix of pre-construction and live projects, working closely with in-house teams and external design partners to improve workflows, ensure best practice, and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of digital strategy across multiple projects
* Implement and manage BIM standards and workflows aligned with ISO 19650
* Coordinate with project teams, ensuring effective digital processes from tender through to completion
* Support risk identification and communicate residual risks to the wider delivery team
* Guide and mentor junior team members, helping shape the future of the digital function
* Promote innovation and continuous improvement across projects and tenders
* Report on digital progress and performance across teams and stakeholders
Required Skills
* Strong experience in BIM coordination or digital engineering roles within the construction or engineering sector
* Proven ability to lead digital delivery and implement strategic workflows
* Proficiency in digital tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and related platforms
* Experience developing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensuring model compliance
