Main Duties/responsibilities:
4. Attendance monitoring
5. Support students effectively and engage with the college community, linking the work of curriculum and pastoral teams, safeguarding and campus support to coordinate efforts in supporting student attendance and retention of students in English and maths.
6. Actively engage with students across the public spaces of the campus, every day and will know individuals well, developing trusted relationships with the student body.

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”
