What you'll do
The successful applicant will join a team in a stunning boutique hotel and assist the head chef in running the kitchen in this high-quality hotel. The role includes working in a professional setup, supporting the head chef, and contributing to the delivery of a fine dining restaurant, room service, events and weddings.
Responsibilities
* Work in a stunning boutique hotel environment with a focus on high standards
* Assist the head chef in daily kitchen operations and service
* Support a busy kitchen across a fine dining restaurant, room service, events and weddings
* Ensure stock control, costings and menu planning are aligned with kitchen targets
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of allergen, H&S and HACCP procedures and regulations
* Lead or support service teams to maintain high standards and smooth communication during service
Ideal candidate
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for craft
* Experience with a modern British menu
* Experience in a fast-paced, fresh food-led kitchen
* Experience in a similar independent casual dining venue
* Experience running service to high standards and coordinating with the team
* Knowledge of stock control, costings and menu planning
* Understanding of allergen, H&S and HACCP requirements
* A desire to learn from a well-respected head chef
