KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Works under some direct supervision
2. Will package a wide variety of products on a range of secondary and tertiary packaging operations according to SOP’s
3. Selects and dispenses required material, loads equipment, making adjustments to line as necessary
4. Responsible for full line changeovers and set-up according to detailed standard operating procedures and training aids.
5. May carry out trouble shooting root cause analysis and minor maintenance work to minimise down time.
6. Has responsibility for production and all associated paperwork and computer data entry.
7. Required to carry out full clean down of the packaging line in accordance with established procedures
8. To actively take part in continuous improvement/SFT/NPI (Shop Floor Transformation & New Product Introduction) and CANDO activity within the department to support a continuous improvement culture and drive operational performance improvement.
9. Investigates and reports problems on equipment and organises maintenance with a primary objective of minimising process downtime.
10. Responsible for the quality of work as all work is subject to GMP
11. Will monitor and record all actions and document as appropriate within GMP requirements.
