Leisure Centre Assistant - Billing Aquadrome - Northampton, Northamptonshire Location: Billing Aquadrome NN3 9DA Leisure Centre Assistant - The Leisure Centre Assistant supports the daily operation of the leisure facility by providing excellent customer service, ensuring a safe environment, and assisting members and visitors with activities and facilities. Hours – Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays Key Responsibilities: Welcome customers and provide information about facilities and services Monitor leisure areas to ensure customer safety and compliance with rules Assist with setting up and maintaining sports, fitness, and activity areas Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, poolside, and public areas Handle bookings, memberships, and basic cash transactions Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally Follow health & safety procedures and emergency protocols Support lifeguards, instructors, and management as required Key Skills & Experience: Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team Responsible and safety-conscious approach Willingness to undertake training (e.g. first aid, lifeguarding if required) Flexible availability including evenings and weekends Desirable: Previous leisure, fitness, or customer service experience preferred but not essential Full training provided Working Hours: Shift-based, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
