Alongside your supervisory responsibilities, you'll spend around 25% of your time driving, giving you first-hand insight into the operation and enabling you to lead with credibility and confidence. How you create impact Motivate and support your team of 6 to achieve outstanding results Monitor and maintain the quality and productivity of daily operation. Plan, schedule and coordinate workloads effectively Ensure full compliance across processes and people Champion a safe, efficient, high-performance working environment Carry out additional duties that reflect the scope and responsibility of a leadership role Submitting and raising Near Miss, Safety Concerns and Unsafe acts observed while carrying out your daily duties is every colleague's responsibility. Operate a van, rigid or artic in a safe and compliant manner adhering to legislation and company policy and procedures. Operate to the Distribution Strategy of Safe, Efficient & Miles. Operate a van, rigid or artic to deliver and collect product to/from the end customer as required. Provide support to the operation as required by preloading/unloading trailers. Ensure all vehicles in their area of responsibility are in a safe, clean and presentable condition.
