Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
* Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic surgeries
* Manage trauma and orthopaedic emergencies
* Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic care
* Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and continuous quality improvement
* Work collaboratively with other specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals
* Ensure adherence to hospital policies, patient safety, and ethical standards
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
* Master of Medicine (MMed) in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent
* Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
* Valid Annual Practising Licence
* At least 3–5 years post‑specialization experience (added advantage)
* Training in trauma care and emergency orthopaedics is an added advantage
