:
Support the delivery of Hartpury’s sustainability strategy during a period of maternity cover:
1. Focusing on utilities, energy management and estates operations to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
2. Monitor and support reporting on carbon emissions, sustainability data and performance
3. Contribute to initiatives across waste, recycling, biodiversity, transport and space management
4. Embed sustainability into capital projects, procurement and operational practices
5. Deliver behavior change and awareness campaigns across staff and students
6. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainability objectives
About You:
7. Proactive and solutions-focused, with a passion for sustainability
8. Collaborative and confident working across diverse teams, departments and stakeholders
9. Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to collect, manage and interpret data effectively
10. Good understanding of sustainability issues, including carbon emissions, energy, utilities and waste management
11. Experience managing utilities, invoices and associated data
12. Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
13. Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively with staff and students
14. Competent with IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
15. Committed to embedding sustainability principles across all areas of work
