AJ Chambers is working with an international law firm located in Guildford who are on the market for a well-presented and articulate Receptionist to join them on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with legal support assistant/receptionist experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet all visitors and clients coming into the office and notify relevant contacts, provide beverages
* Provide general administrative support to the office
* Ensure all telephone contact is done in a professional manner
* Reserve meeting rooms for any internal and external meetings
* Ensure all front of house areas are maintained to a high standard and tasks are carried out promptly where required
* Maintain visitor lists in the event of fire and liaise with relevant personnel
* Restock conference room supplies and keep inventory and records for supplies and check deliveries for accuracy
* Ensure kitchen area and client toilets are kept to high standards
* Booking taxis and arranging couriers on request
* Provide legal support/admin assistance to fee earning departments including bundling/paginating/copying/collating documents
* Completing legal forms
Candidate Skills/Attributes:
* Proven recent experience working as a Receptionist in a professional service firm
* Demonstrate excellent client service skills.
* Attentive to client needs and respond accordingly.
* Be articulate and fluent in English business language.
* Display an organised approach to work, operating with a professional attitude, and prioritising tasks in an efficient manner.
* Be flexible in their approach to work and have the ability to carry out other tasks essential to the smooth running of the service.
* Possess good IT skills with knowledge of office based packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.
