The children in our care have faced significant challenges, and your role is to help them feel safe, believe in themselves and reconnect with their communities.

You’ll work across our small, homely residential houses, supported by a purpose‑built school and dedicated teams creating safe, structured environments where children can thrive.


In This Role, You’ll

* Provide leadership and guidance to staff across multiple houses
* Act as a key worker, offering consistent emotional and practical support
* Support daily routines, activities and outings
* Contribute to care planning and work closely with managers and practitioners
* Take a whole‑child approach to care and wellbeing


We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

Significant experience in residential childcare, ideally supported by an HNC in Social Care and an SVQ Level 3. You’ll hold a full manual driving licence as travel between services and outings are part of the role, and bring a calm, supportive leadership style focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people. This is a Lead Practitioner (Multi‑Site) role based out of Dumbrock, working across our other houses as required to meet the needs of the young people at any given time.


When You’ll Be Working

The house works to a 3‑week rolling rota, typically covering a mix of early shifts from 7 am to 3 pm, late shifts from 2 pm to 10 pm and weekly sleep‑over shifts. Shifts may vary slightly depending on the needs of the young people, and additional payment is provided for sleep‑overs. January and February start dates are available.
