Mental Health Support Worker Location - Lincoln £12.21 per hour Role Description – Mental Health Support Worker Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers within the Lincoln area to support a young lady in her 20's who has a diagnosis of EUPD and Sensory Processing Disorder, who be living independently in her own home receiving 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The lady we will be supporting is looking for individuals with a good sense of humour, someone who isn’t too serious! She has a keen interest in Dancing and has recently taken up swimming lessons as a new hobby. The person we support also has a keen interest in looking into voluntary work as she has recently been volunteering at cat café, meow! She will be supported by a female team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. Mental Health Support Worker Required Skills and Experience * Social care experience, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with EUPD. * Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. * Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. * Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. * You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
