A growing Chichester area company are looking to strength the accounts team by recruiting a full time permanent in office Accounts Assistant.
Job Description
As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:· Data entry· Process customer invoicing · Process supplier invoicing to ensure accuracy against POs and quotes. · Manage bank activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.· Compile weekly supplier payment runs · Prepare accounts reports· Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.· Credit control and administration functions across all departments to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
· Qualification to AAT level 3 required, or currently studying AAT.· Experience in a finance role preferable, but not essential. Previous experience of Xero beneficial.· Excellent reporting skills, a keen eye for detail. Advanced Excel experience preferable.· Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
