SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN School Location: Rochdale Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:15pm £110 per day Start Date: As soon as possible Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Secondary SEN School supporting pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties (PMLD). The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with a range of complex and profound learning needs.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning and care plans. Assist with personal care, communication and sensory learning activities. Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment for every child.
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to support their social, emotional and academic development. The Ideal Candidate: Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (particularly PMLD, SLD, or autism). Is patient, caring, and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting others.
