Marketing & Communications Manager sought by the Building Solutions division of an international polymer manufacturer, in their Ross-on-Wye office. This global company has nearly 200 locations worldwide and supplies to a range of industries including construction, industrial, and automotive sectors.
The Role:
As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be part of a wider marketing team of 12-13 members.
You will be responsible for executing marketing activities aligned with the company's key initiatives, goals, and strategies, ensuring all activities adhere to corporate guidelines and support successful marketing plan implementation for the Building Solutions division. Your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Understanding the marketing communications requirements for the Building Solutions division.
2. Managing three product ranges (pipes): District Heating, Underfloor Heating, Plumbing.
3. Planning and executing campaigns with clear KPIs and monitoring their success.
4. Managing media strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Head of Sales & Marketing and Global Head of Marketing, Building Solutions.
5. Coordinating the production of marketing materials aligned with global campaigns.
6. Managing email marketing, content management, website, and social media strategies.
7. Planning and delivering external events and trade shows.
8. Working with agencies to produce literature, videos, etc.
9. Providing trade marketing support to division customers.
10. Supporting the Public Relations strategy.
11. Overseeing market research insights and translating them into marketing strategies.
12. Engaging with sales teams within the division.
13. Managing marketing budgets to ensure activities stay within financial plans.
14. Occasional travel (around 2 days per month) for meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant marketing discipline (preferred).
* Significant experience in a similar marketing role.
* B2B marketing experience is essential.
* Experience working within the B2B industrial sector is preferred.
* Experience in video production and agency management.
* Strong digital marketing skills.
* Keen interest in sustainability is beneficial.
* Ability to adopt both strategic and hands-on approaches.
* Strong influencing skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
