Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with children and families, working to improve the outcomes for SEN learners
* Work closely with external agencies and providers of support
* Work to deadlines and process all relevant paperwork for EHCP’s and provision plans
* Lead, co-ordinate and deliver high quality training for staff
* Support staff with developing effective behaviour strategies
* Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, fostering strong partnerships to support student development.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status.
* Holds or is willing to undertake the national award for SEN Co-Ordination.
* Track record of supporting SEN learners and outcomes.
* In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
