What you’ll get up to as an HGV Driver:
1. Our HGV Drivers deliver across the country. If you’re keen to travel further, we may offer you opportunities to deliver into northern Europe as well.
2. You will carry a wide variety of loads – mechanical equipment, plant, containers, boats and general cargo – no two days are the same.
3. You’ll make safety your number one priority, adhere to road and tachograph regulations, be professional and friendly with customers.
4. You’ll be based out of our head office in Millbrook, Southampton, which has great road links as well as onsite parking, cycling and welfare facilities.
5. We operate a high quality fleet of regular and specialist equipment. Modern and well-maintained, they offer the latest in driver safety and comfort.
6. You will work with a range of trailers, to include standard, flat, semi low loader and extendable.
What we look for in our HGV Drivers
7. A valid Class 1 HGV licence & CPC
8. Experience in heavy and abnormal transport & driving 65t and or 80t trucks
9. Experience in using flatbeds, semi low-loader, and extendable trailers
10. Used to securing a range of different cargo, machinery and wheeled plant
11. Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team
12. A passion for delivering excellent customer service

13. Competitive salary depending on experience
14. Salary is based on average 50 hours per week. You will mainly be working Monday to Friday. Some weekend working is required.
15. Weekend working is normally worked on a rota basis (we pay weekend bonuses)
