Vehicle Technician / Mechanic CarLux Service & MOT Centre (Pontyclun)Location: Pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf Salary: £32,000 £35,000 DOE (£35-40,000 OTE) Full Time | PermanentURGENTLY REQUIREDAbout UsCarLux is a growing business with a recently acquired independent Service & MOT Centre with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, customer service, and vehicle preparation. Due to continued expansion and a fresh outlook, we are looking to recruit 2 experienced Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join our team.We work on a wide range of vehicles mainly your everyday brands, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, MOT preparation, and general mechanical work. No big work, just a local MOT & Service Centre.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Vehicle servicing and maintenanceDiagnostics and fault findingBrake, suspension, clutch, and engine repairs (No big work)Timing belt/chain replacementMOT preparation and repairsVehicle inspections and health checksMaintaining high workshop standardsWorking efficiently while delivering quality workmanshipWhat we're looking forEssential:Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/MechanicGood diagnostic and repair skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceOwn toolsPreferred:Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & RepairMOT Tester licenceExperience with a wide range of vehiclesDiagnostic software experienceWhat we offerCompetitive salary (£32£35,000 + Bonus depending on experience) (£35-40,000 On Target Earnings)Overtime opportunitiesFriendly and professional working environmentCareer progression opportunitiesStable long term role within a growing businessModern workshop equipment22 Days Holiday entitlement plus bank holidaysThis role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their automotive expertise in a dynamic setting.
