What You'll Be Doing
As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in enhancing teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging and creative learning activities across the curriculum
Supporting teachers with differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all pupils
Leading targeted small-group interventions to boost progress in core subjects
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
Delivering lesson cover when required, ensuring smooth and effective continuity
Supporting behaviour management strategies to create a positive, motivating classroom environment
Encouraging pupils to engage, achieve and develop a genuine love of learningWhat We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential)
Bring experience working in a primary school setting, ideally across various year groups
Be passionate about children's learning and their holistic development
Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and within a team
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenContract Details

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
