About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting effective classroom management across the school.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff
* Deliver and explain pre-prepared lesson materials
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensure students remain focused and complete assigned tasks
* Support a calm and productive learning environment
* Report any issues or concerns to senior staff when required
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people is desirable
* Strong classroom presence and communication skills
* Confident, calm and adaptable approach
* Ability to manage behaviour effectively
* A genuine interest in supporting education and student progress
