Health and Safety & Facilities Advisor Responsibilities * Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards across our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with UK legislation * ·Ensure that any reportable injuries or incidents are reported to the appropriate authorities (for example, HSE under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) * Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with current UK legislation and industry best practices * Deliver engaging safety training sessions and inductions for employees and contractors including fire safety drills. * Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, produce detailed reports, identify root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence * Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety documentation, and training compliance * Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment * Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage relationship with external health and safety organisations and consultants * Support the achievement and maintenance of relevant ISO certifications * Oversea the day-to-day operatio...
